Pinewood Derby 2011

Gavin and Garrett competed in their 2nd Pinewood Derby.  This years cars were faster and sleeker.
Gavin wanted a shoe car, while Garrett wants a skateboard.
They both won their heats and cometed in the final.

Gavin got 1st place and Garrett got 3rd.  Gavin won the first 3 races in the final heat and Garrett won the last race in the heat.

Cassia's Halloween preschool party

FYI, She's the blonde in pink.

She was Princess Peach, Gavin was Mario and Garrett was Luigi from Mario Bro's.

Her joke was, "What do you call a fat jacko-lantern?   A plumpkin."

Pinewood Derby

The boys had their Pinewood Derby race last week.  Gv's car looks like Luke Skywalkers Landspeeder from Tatooine.  Gr's car looks like the Matterhorn rollercoaster cars from Disneyland.  They both raced well, Gv got 1st place in his heat, but was knocked out is the second round.  Gr got second in his heat, but was glad all the scouts thought his was coolest.
Here's some video's of the races.

K's new hair cut

As you may know, K got ambitious 2 months ago and decided to cut her hair. She practiced on her dolls first to make sure she knew what to do. Well, it didn't turn out as hoped.
Now it has grow long enough to make a 'Pixie' cut. She is adorable. She insists on 'Pixie Dust' in her hair, glitter. She's happy with the new hair cut and so are her parents. It's much better than what she tried to do herself.

Pinecrest Fun

It was so nice to go to Pincrest this year. It's my favorite place and it felt like forever since I was able to take my family there. We had a great time and can't wait to return.

Below are some pics of our various adventures. Enjoy!!

Hiking to Cleo's with GR and GV.

Weekend Warriors

We had a big Saturday. GR and GV had their first snowboarding lesson at Park City, while Angie took K ice skating.

K, on her own

Video and pics were with my phone, so quality isn't the best. Enjoy.

K dancing with GR. She dressed herself. The Elmo shirt she's wearing used to be a dress when she was 2.
Also testing out the new video camera.
